in lieu of giving chris brown psychiatric help for his past, the music industry goes HAM on trying to better his image in light of the fact that he beat rihanna to a pulp three years ago. this is why the record industry is not a good place to go. this is why i have chose a career path that explicitly avoids, to as great of a degree as possible, the pop music industry - an industry that needs no further explanation as one that puts the least amount of importance on the artist when it comes to money and, more importantly, well-being.

it should be noted, however, that there is a good amount of talk about how chris brown has not apologized for the incident. this is false. here is the apology video from a few months after the attack (albeit one of the most insincere piece of shit things i’ve ever watched).
